Racing: St Leger Winer Is ............... Rewilding or Dandino or ..
The Last Classic and Rewilding Is The Word
Third at Epsom and staying on, winning going away at York and he seems to be the one horse with classic form to be beaten. It seems highly unlikely he will be beaten but, this is racing and nobody knows how things will pan out. That race at York was too good and he might not repeat it, a very likely possibility.
There are other horses epspecially trained for this marathon and they must be respected as the distance will suit perfectly.
Dandiono and Arctic Cosmos were second and third in a good race and they should improve. They must be good EW shots.
Joshua Tree ran well behind Rewildig and the race must have done him a lot of good. Soft going and Montjeu are a good combination for this maraton trip. He was reported a bit backward then and if that is true, then he has a major chance as the only unexposed horse in the race. Midas Touch is not running as pace maker and he might steal the show. Nothing between him and Rewilding on classic form.
Finally we fail to see the reason Snow Fairy is running and we hope she is withdrawn. She cannot win against the boys and it won't do her any good.
Be back before Saturday for more.

Racing: Cape Blanco Won The Champion Stakes As We Described He Would
I Wrote The Scenario Of the Race At Six In The Morning
Cape Blanco will go close to the pace and when he comes to the straight and two furlongs out, he will kick for home and nobody will catch him.
Well, he made the running, he kicked for home in the straight and nobody saw him. He was about six lengths in front at the finish. What a great tip for all at 6/1EW!!
Who followed? Van Winkle, as I said it would be.
We do read races and do get races right when the money is down and all horses run to win.
I also analysed and got precisely correctly the first three horses in the Betfred Sprint, a Group One race too with prices at 12/1, 10/1 and 25/1.
Our site is for the brave and the sensible too.
Do not tell me that Pricewise tipped these horses as we will cry with disappointment!!!

Racing: Betfred Sprint At Haydock Is A Spanner In The Works
Betfred Sponsors, We Applaud
The sprint of the day is the biggest sprint puzzle of the season. It will take us a couple of days to analyse all horses's form in detail and even then we won't be sure of the winner.
Starspangledbanner has No Murtagh and thus No chance for us to win. We will give a chance to fresher horses and other trainers.
We have in mind a Northen trainer in the race and that is Mr Nicholls with his
Regal Parade EW
The ground is riding firmish now, Parade needs soft or good to soft ground and so watch out and be very slow on him.
However three more horses take our fancy and we will name them early in the morning here in an update.
Be back at 9.00am
6.15 am Update
Markab runs well but he is never winning in this grade. Gengi comes from an in form stable who can prepare one for the big occasion. Rainfall won well at Ascot but how good was that and especially over seven furlongs. Finally its the Lady of The Desert who promised a lot but disappointed up to now.
The ground is drying up. Can Regal Parade win on firmish ground. We do not think so now.

Racing: Champion Stakes, Cape Blanco, Twice Over or Rip Van Winkle ?
Racing Of Quality Tomorrow
Leopartstown has the best and the biggest race of the day in the Champion Stakes. O'Brien runs as many as half the field to win this one and that suggests uncertainty in who might be the best among his runners.
Rip Van Winkle, Bethoven, Cape Blanco or what else.
To oppose the O'Brien armada are horses from England in Sea Lord and Twice Over.
Rip Van Winkle was impressive last time but so was Cape Blanco and Twice Over this year. We like the chances of Twice Over and Rip Van Winkle and we will go for them in EW bets.
We might hear somethins from Ireland and by tomorrow many things might change.
Be with us to hear more tomorrow.
6.00am Update
We have burned the night oil all night to get to the bottom of some of our selected races. This one will be an O'Brien affair and between Cape Blanco and Rip Van Winkle. Murtagh goes for the favourite 4/6 Van Winkle but we prefer Cape Blanco for the following reasons:
a. More rested and therefore fresher. b. Ten furlongs is his best distance and for that he will produce more today. His best races came at ten furlongs c.From box one he will save valuable ground, he will go close to the pace and he willl dificult to catch in the last two furlongs.
This is a very good EW bet at 6/1

Racing: Paco Boy Heading To France For Prix Moulin
Wise Decision For Paco Boy
Hannon declares that Paco Boy will travel to France to run in the Prix Mourny.
The sprint at Haydock was an option but that was shelved as the field will be too big and too many unknown factors are still in play.
The Longchamp race will see Paco Boy taking Makfe on once again but on different ground and conditions. Goldikova will be absent and so the race is between just two horses, it seems.
Can Paco beat Makfe?
He might but it will be a tough question to answer. Makfe beat decent horses in all his wins and there is no hole in his form if we forget his only defeat at Ascot.
Makfe for us then but, we would love Paco Boy to win for the English team and connections.

Racing: Memory and Together Will Be Moyglare Toast?
Favourites But Others Have To Allow Them To Win
The Hannon team continued the run with Zebedee's easy win yesterday. Today they are aiming higher with Memory in the Moyglare. They will have to be very confident to be sending a two year old in the den of Irish racing and against O'Brien's four horses in the shape of
Together, Wild Wind, Misty For Me and Why.
Add to those four the impressive Laughing Lashes, on soft ground, and the race looks a genuine high class race.
The race will be a cut throat affair and so we see horse coming from off the pace to win but...
Today the going is different and if it remains firmish, we will not be surprised to see one going in front and never caught.
O'Brien will play his cards right and we give the race to his armada of four with
Together and Misty For Me

Racing: Afleet Express Beats Fly Down In The Travers At Saratoga
Afleet Express Wins The Summer Derby
The unlucky story goes to Fly Down who missed the win by a very short nose victory as it was in the Belmont.
Afleet Express deserved the win and he is an improving horse over the distance. Fly Down might have been unlucky but there is one more race to come, The Breeders Cup. He surely has a big win in him. Running five wide was not ideal but that is what happened and that was the reason he just lost.
Have him in mind as well well as the winner.

We cannot see the winner clearly but we three good selections for all in
Malthouse, Queen of Desrt and Shafgaan all at good to very good odds.

Racing: Main Aim Has One Aim, Victory In The Celebration Mile
No Opposition To Main Aim
There are only three opponents to Main Aim and they are all poor.
Vitznau, Summer Fete, Poet's Voice.
Main Aim is the only horse with some decent form for a Group Twoo race and we pick him to win. Stoute's team is coming to some good form and there is nothing among the other three to even threaten our selection.
