Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenham Festival Fallout and Final Thoughts

Cheltenham Festival 2009Two Megastars Were Bombed Out

Kauto Star and Master Minded were beaten well and perhaps their era is over.

Master Minded had his race earlier and won very well. We expected his defeat with a degree of certainty.

Kauto Star had the ideal preparation but he made the mistakes we felt he could not make any more and this time he fell too. We did say in our Cheltenahm last report that Imperial Commander was a certainty to place and perhaps win, if Kauto had a fall. It happened.

We feel that both Nicholls horses ran too good a race prior to Cheltenham to repeat the same races. We see a training flaw in their preparation but.....

Who are we to criticise Nicholls and his training plans? We must admit that he is tops and he got the training and running schedules of these horses wrong. We are surely going to see them again.

Big Buck's won easily and as expected. We never doubted this one because we felt there was no opposition, credible opposition.

Danguib was hyped by the media and we were not surprised he lost the race he was  supposed to be unbeatable in. The press makes heroes without much foundationa and that was one case. We never endorsed this horse as he never beat serious opposition and he was never tested properly.

Binocular came back on the firmish ground, in the spring and slaughtered the field and the horses who beat him earlier and last year. Horse racing is no Mathematics and this is an example where the form was thrown out of the window.

The handicaps were the biggest traps for the punters and bookmakers took all the money. No doubt they will complain tomorrow that they lost on this and that race. No race apart Big Buck's was a loser for them. They made hundreds of millions but we see the events at Cheltenham from a different angle.

Punters were skinned and the shops will be empty for weeks. Shops started closing all over the country and wait for the first casualties of these hard times.

Cheltenham was great, racing was absolutely magnificent and the horses gave us a spectacle like never before.

Well done all involved.

Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenham Festival, News and Updates

Cheltenham Festival 2009Final day and It Is Sad For Us Here

No serious winners for us

***** Big Buck's won easily for Ruby Walsh. However, he rode Rivaliste to lose and that we cannot forget nor forgive.

***** The ground at Cheltenham was riding firmish and there was a bit of watering in places last night

***** Our best bet today is for Denman Not to place but who are we?  He might win too but No! Kauto Star will win.

***** We have four selections for our subscribers today and one for all members and readers

***** The placed horse in the Gold Cup is Imperial Commander and if there are accidents he might win it too. Surely his nose defeat at Haydock by Kauto was No fluke.

***** Anything of Pipe's we thought of failed others we dismissed won. What a bombing out of us by him!

***** Nicholls horses were beaten by better animals and the best animal he had so far, Big Buck's won at will and by as much as the jockey wanted.

Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenham Festival, Third Day News and Reports

Cheltenham Festival 2009Glorious Racing And Great Winners

***** Big Zeb won going away, whereas Master Minded looked terrible and ran badly. It was a great call to LAY him.

***** Long Run lost his chance when making serious mistakes.

The bookmakers are having a laugh. No real favourites in yet but be ready today as Big Buck's will floor them. This is a huge banker bet and No Way will lose.

There are handicaps and other races where the bookies will again skin us and for that we say,

Watch Out

We will help the battered punter with at least one FREE tip and perhaps two if things are going well for us. All tips will come just before the race in question.

Proliferation of tips is at work. We do not want that. Nobody does but it happens!

Cheltenham Festival: Master Minded Beaten at Cheltenham, We LAYED Him

Cheltenham Festival 2009LAY Master Minded Was Our Advice

We knew the horse would be at least ten lengths inferior to his earlier run.

He was and we know the reasons well.

We predict a few more hiccups in the next two days.

Our subscribers are witnesses to our advice. We could not pick the winner but we were sure of the loser.

Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenham Festival, Second Day 17th March

Cheltenham Festival 2009The Ground Was Good If Not Good To Firm

That was the reason two of our selections here failed. Get Me Out Of Here was outdone at the end, The Package lost because the ground was so against him. That will be worse today but hopefully it will help our selections, as we do take that into account very seriously now.

We are as normally selecting three and perhaps four on the day. One wil be great odds.

We have not made a decision on how to help the readers. Keep in touch and we will let you know.

The RSA is the main race today for us.

The Queen Mother's Chase the race of the day. We cannot name Master Minded as the winner becauese he is the favourite.

The Baring Bingam Hurdle is the race we concentrate most as there is where the money willl be.

W will be back at about 1.30

Cheltenham Festival: Zaynar Third In Champon Hurdle But Binocular Was The One

Cheltenham Festival 2009Zaynar Ran His Race and Third Was Fine

Backed at 10/1 he left us with a little profit.

Get Me Out Of Here was beaten just because McCoy played too much of a waiting game.

Sizing Europe got the Arkle.

The Package was beaten for pace and it was a bookies day.

The favourites were all beatem but for Quevega, who slaughtered the field.

It was too late to save most of us.

Our two main tips came second and third and that was fine.

Tomorrow is less interesting than today.

Be with us but we have had our hopes dashed with Zaynar even though he finished third.

Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenahm News and Updates

Cheltenham Festival 2009
First Day Of Cheltenahm and News Update

**** The going at Cheltenham the first two days at least is going to be good. There is a good chance of rain on Thursday and Friday.

**** Mourad is not running in the Coral Cup and our advice to keep your money in your pocket until you get no bet no run.

**** Henderson has declared that all his horses are ready to run very well and that includes all three in the Champions Hurdle.

**** The Irish have won seven of the last ten runnings of the Supreme Novices Hurdle.

Our selections for tomorrow are already in the subscription box. Just to say that we selected No favourites and the odds  ar e 5/1, 14/1 and 25/1. Our selections are not outlandish. They are form horses and you bet your last penny they will be on the line bar any accidents.

Cheltenham Festival: Binocular, Punjabi, Celestial, Go Native or Who at Cheltenham?

Cheltenham Festival 2009Champion Hurdle Is a Cracker Of A Race

We are lost for words about the quality in this race. We are honestly lost in the information, the form lines and guides and the possible winner.

Which one to choose is as easy as getting out of the Labyrinth without Ariadne's string. However, that we will try to provide to all in an article of ifs and buts.

Celestial Hallo, Go Native, Starluck, Punjabi, Zaynar, Binocular, Medermit and others. Which one is the question.

Form lines are supporting one or another, the proximity of all together in various races is indeed puzzling and we expect a bunch finish, well will it be? Which one will be out of trouble and push away at the end?

Celestial Hallo was beaten by many but he was so close, he has to be respected. Ruby and Nicholls!! Awesome team and records!

Go Native is explosive at the finish and seems to thrive. Zaynar blew his record and appeal with a defeat in his last race. Binocular was hyped last year and he is always there. Starluck will wait to pounce and might be able to win. Punjabi will run exactly the same way as he did last year and the year before. If anything does better will win. Medermit is young and improving and King won the race twice.

So, there are six plus and we need one.

We made our selection but it is unwise to reveal all our cards now. Perhaps tomorrow we will give you a good hint about our fancy, which might prove as bad as anything bad we tipped before.

Besides, you already have your fancy and you should stick to it!

Keep in touch!

Cheltenham Festival: Cheltenham Festival, News and Updates

Cheltenham Festival 2009One Day To Go

We are virtually there guys. Time has flown by and Tuesday 16th March brings the opening of the festival. We are prepared as no other time before. We have turned things round everywhere and we know we have the two best tipsters in the country to help us. Our site aims high and there is no stopping us, when the fiddle is No issue and racing will be straight and honest.

Rest assured all races will be Fair and Honest and the best on the day will win!!!

The latest news is:

**** Ground forecast is good. The weather is great and watering will take place today, we assume. Good ground all around, forget the soft unless rains arrive, which are not predicted.

**** Mourad scare from Mullins yard but that is rather common and we will pay attention to that when he does not turn up.

**** Quel Esprit is approaching favouritism and we cannot dismiss his chances. We have already committed ourselves to an outsider here.

**** Graham Lee is with a small injury  but we expect him to ride one or two winners. He is the man for Cheltenham where waiting and coming strong at the finish is essential.

**** One of Nicholls hotpots will lose this year and we already suspect or know which one it is going to be. More on this in our subscription box on the day of the race.

**** The hardest race on Tuesday seems to be the Champion Hurdle, where at least half a dozen horses can win. We have the winner with all the justifications in our subscription box tomorrow.

*** We will discuss and select horses from three races daily at Cheltenham plus another one we will decide on the day. Join the fun on the inside of things but then again, you can play a waiting game and see how we do the first day of the festival.

**** No subscription FEES if we fail to deliver profits during Cheltenham Festival.
