Roger Federer, The Star Of Stars The Player, The Friend, The Husband and Father We have been a bit harsh on Federer somewhat prematurely over the last two years. The appearance of Nadal, the emergence of Djokovic, the threat from Murray contributed to us thinking that the best player the tennis courts have seen was on his way out of the top tennis books. We were dead wrong, he is still the top in tennis and all suitors of his position are falling by the wayside with one injury after another, with one excuse after another with just being proven not as good as him, not as reselient and as talented as him. In the meantime Federer stands tall, proud and untarnished as the top athlete in the world and apparently with No skeletons in his closet. Tiger Woods has been disgraced. Gone and forgotten. John Terry does not deserve the mention among the top moral examples and so... Federer the fair and just got married to his long standing and faithful partner, he has had two daughters and he is a shining example to all young people. We applaud, we congratulate and praise Roger Federer for all his achievements but more so for his character and great example to all and especially the young ones and of his age. Down to earth, father and husband an example of good manners and character an example of humility and respect on the courts and outside the courts to all. The Ace

What Planet Pricewise? Notre Pere! Guys, Do Not Get Angry With Me! Where, why and How did Pricewise tip Notre Pere to win in Ireland yesterday? Where was his evidence in the horse this year and in the trainer? Doesn't he know anything about in form trainers and out of form ones? My friend Elia comes to me and tells me. Back Notre Pere. He will win today. My answer was, he will be last! Another friend comes in and says, I know of a winner today. Fire away, I said. Notre Pere. I went ballistic. I went absolutely mad because in the meantime I read Pricewise's article and tips in the Racingpost. I shouted at them, I shouted at Pricewise and his tips. I screamed in anger, disgust and fury. All the innocent punters followed Pricewise. No begging of mine to back Joncol persuaded them to change course and mind. Notre Pere came in last , I think! Mr Segal, I got angry because I believe you did it deliberately. You tip good horses because of past form but this one had it great last year and the only year, when Dreaper's horses were flying.   This year they do not know where their legs are. Did you know where yours were on Sunday? Give the innocent people who back you blind a break. Your tips on Sunday were out of order. We serve nobody by being quiet over such selections. Be serious and give the innocent sheep a horse with some substance and some chance. I never read your column and never follow you, even though I believe you are genuinely good. We Ask The Knowledgeable About McCoy Is McCoy On The Decline? For us here he has been for some time. Gone are those fearsome shows of power and dare devil wins. His last three weeks were as abysmal as any small rider on the jumps. Forty rides with so many fancied horses and he managed to win three just with 7/2 or worse. We watch him ride and we wonder: Is that the rider called McCoy? What was that ride on Song of Songs? Had I been on the horse I would have given it a better ride. What do you expect him to do on Denman? I will tell right now! Mess him up and lose at Cheltenham. Are we against McCoy? Yes, we are! Whenever on a short priced horse he loses. Why should we like him as a rider? Because the media think so? No chance with us! We speak our mind and we speak the facts, not the myths! The Editor

Selections and Results, 9th February We Had Three Good Winners and Three Good Placed Horses It was one of those good days. Apologies to all readers as we were not more positive with Shaking Hands but we said it was the danger to our unplaced selection. Tomorrow we plan to select only two for readers and subscribers. Early days though as the weather looks very dangerous and the expected cold snap will interrupt our run and speedy return to the top of the tipsters lists on Racing Index Proofing Services. Be back in the morning 6.40 am Update We must have turned the corner for sure. We have been selecting winners everyday and what winers. Yesterday we tipped Burton Port first win only and Sliotar Ew in the same race Idle Talk as a banker EW at 14/1 for our subscribers came in third Shaking Hands as a hedge bet at 9/1 winner Finlly for the risk takers and the ones who dare Tiger Bay at 16/1 and won going away. No flukes in our tips any more as this is an everyday occurance for the last two weeks now. Join us and enjoy the run. Today's tips will be only two as long as racing is on. Three Winners and Three Placed Today 8th February We Had A great Day Shaking Hands won at good odds. We were afraid of it and so we sort of tipped both him and Quartz Du M. Rif came in second Idel Talk came in third Burton Port won and Sliotar we selected EW.
